    The 2nd ACT Invitation Round Invited 600+ Candidates

    For the second time in a month, Canberra Matrix comes again with the latest Invitation Round. An invitation round took place on 23 January 2023. The latest round invited a total of 227 onshore and offshore applicants under subclass 190. Whereas, 405 nominations have been issued under subclass 491.

     Highlights of the Latest ACT Invitation Round

    • As a comparison, the latest round invited a total of 102 candidates less than the previous round.
    • On the other end, the round invited 25 more Critical Skill Occupations applicants than the last round.
    • Additionally, the overseas applicants’ count was reduced by 124 number in the latest draw.
    • Moreover, the latest round has given 1359 approvals, which is 56 more than the 13 January round.
    • On the other side, the refusals of the applications also went high with the round. In this round total refusals have increased to 134.
    • One of the positives that come out of the round is the increasing pro rata nominations. With subclass 190, per month pro-rata increased to 301 and in subclass 491 it is increased to 211 per month.
    • In total, the pro-rata is increased by 276 nominations per month as compared with the previous round.
