Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to get the invite you must meet basic criteria of Department of Home affairs.

• Valid and positive skill assessment;
• Be under 45 years of age;
• Have minimum competent English, unless higher English required for your particular occupation.

BSMQ criteria requires you to:

• Have an occupation on the Offshore Skill Occupation List
• Satisfy additional requirements for certain occupations;
• Have minimum 2 years post qualification experience in your nominated occupation. (Or higher if require)
• commit to living and working in Queensland from the date that you arrive in Queensland to live permanently; and
• where job offers are required they must be related to your occupation, and evidence is required showing acceptance of the offer.
• Labour hire companies must provide evidence that they are registered in Queensland (incl overseas companies)

Please note: if you are an overseas PhD graduate, you may be eligible for a work experience waiver if you have a minimum 12 month job offer with a Queensland employer registered in Australia. The job offer must be related to your occupation, and evidence is required showing acceptance of the offer.

Engineering Occupation:

In case of Engineering occupation barring Quantity Surveyor, Agriculture Engineer and Engineering Technologist, All other occupations need to satisfy the registration requirement with Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland.

 IT Professional:

• 75 points is minimum require with state nomination.
• Require minimum 5 years of post qualification experience require
• Require a full time position job offer for a minimum of 12 months from a Queensland employer registered in Australia
