IRCC Launches Category-Based Selection Draw for Express Entry
Two back-to-back draws from the Express Entry invited 11,000 candidates in a week. The update seems that the New Year brings a bunch of positive news for the candidates who are looking to migrate to Canada. As per the latest update, Canada Express Entry declared the second consecutive draw on January 18, 2023. The latest draw yet again invited 5500 candidates and most importantly, the draw cut-off drastically goes down by 17 points. It seems that Canadian Immigration may cover the December month’s gap in January month and it is not wrong to predict that there is likely a chance that the third draw of the month may come soon.

The above table shows the comparison between the CRS score range in between the week.
Certainly, this number brings a constructive change in upcoming time of Canada Immigration. If the changes will remain, continue then it may invite a huge number of candidates in next six months. However, the only challenge is increasing number of express entry profiles in the pool. Therefore, if you are a candidate and wish for Canada PR then you should try to enhance your CRS score up to 460 to 470 at least. Because this range of CRS may not give the direct Federal nomination but it likely to bring the Provincial Nomination from the provinces like Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
