    Ontario Declared the 2nd Trades Stream Draw Of 2023 Issued 510 NOIs

    Ontario declared the second Skilled Trades Stream draw on February 9, 2023. The province issued 510 Notifications of Interest. The CRS score range that has been declared for the draw is 260 – 489 points. A total of five occupation codes have been nominated under the draw.

    This is the second draw in seven days announced by the province. The first draw of the month was published under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. The draw nominated skilled workers from health and tech occupations. Whereas, the recent draw targeted skilled trades professionals.

    Highlights of the Latest Draw

    • This is the second Trades Stream draw of the New Year. The previous Skilled Trades Draw was held on January 13, 2023.
    • This latest draw nominated 510 skilled trades professionals.
    • The CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score) range for the particular draw is been declared 260 – 489 points.
    • According to the new TEER system, there are a total of 72 major groups and out of them, this time the province gives a chance to five major occupations
    • Here is the list of the nominated occupation codes and its title.

    • From the last draw, there is a huge difference we can see between NOIs. As well as the CRS Score range.
    • Compare to the last draw, this draw invited 742 less number of candidates.
    • The irony of the draw was the CRS score range, which is reduced by 76 points to the previously announced 336 CRS.
    • Interestingly both the draws have considered all the Express Entry profiles that have been created in the entire year.

    Conclusion

    The recent score range shows the potentiality of the province, though the last draw already invited 1252 candidates. However, the new draw is shown a scope and they have nominated 500+ candidates.
