Manitoba Issue 540 LAA in Latest Draw

As per the latest update, Manitoba declared the fresh draw on 15th June 2023. They invited 540 candidates from their standard categories. However, in this draw the authorities have announced the special sub-category called Occupation-specific selection under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream that targets the technical skilled experience holders.

Highlights of the Latest MPNP Draw

From March month the province adopted an Occupation-specific selection sub-category pattern. In this specification, they are focusing to invite different occupations candidates.
The candidates must have experience in the relevant field to get the nomination.
As per the latest announcement from the ministry on 31st May, the government is looking precisely to nominate skilled workers.
As a result, five occupational category-based draws will soon be a part of the regular express entry draw. A similar sort of impact is expected in the provinces as well.
The recent MPNPN draws are the best example of the same ideology.
Since the last year, the government is planning to focus more and more on skilled immigrants due to a heavy labour market shortage in the Canadian job market.
