    One of the most frequent provinces of the year British Columbia has declared yet another draw on 14th September 2021. Invited 464 candidates from skilled workers and international graduate categories.

    Key Elements of the Draw

    • In this general draw, total 365 Skilled Worker and International Graduate candidates received the invitations.
    • Those remaining 99 candidates whose occupation falls under NOC 0621 or NOC, 0631 have received invitations with scores of 105.
    • The draw has declared under the two categories Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration.
    • The cut-off score of Express Entry BC (EEBC)’s subcategories
      • Skilled Worker – 86
      • International Graduate – 75
    • The Skills Immigration’s subcategories cut-off
      • Skilled Worker: 90
      • International Graduate: 77
      • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled: 69
    • This time BC PNP has held draw in SI and EEBC categories because of some specific reasons, like
      • First, there are huge number of applications are already submitted in BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) in certain occupations.
      • Secondly, due to the rush to the specific occupations the provincial government tried to balance among all the sectors of the provincial labour market.

    Brief of the Draws of Year 2021

    Even in the Wuhan virus COVID – 19 pandemic situation the only province that remains consistent is British Columbia and this year as well the province is continuously declaring the draw and inviting a good number of candidates. Until this year, the province has invited total 8500 candidates and still more to come in the upcoming time.  The speciality of the province is technology sector, this year the provincial authorities have declared more than 50 draws and out of them total 17 are declare under the Tech Pilot Draw Stream. This year, these 17 draws have invited more than 1300 Information Technology professionals to the province on Permanent Residency.

    Conclusion

    The provincial pathway is one of the best ways to obtain the Canadian permanent residency quickly for the foreign workers. However, the workers usually requires a job offer in any one category out of five. The five categories are – Skilled Worker Category, Healthcare Professional Category, International Graduate Category, International Post-Graduate Category, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category.
