Newfoundland and Labrador provincial government has announced a New Immigration Pathway. The pathway focuses on Priority Skills requirement and targeting will attract highly educated, highly skilled newcomers for the province. The program is about to launch on January 2, 2021. The highly focus sector of the program is technology. However, there some other sectors which may going to considered in the near future as well.
The new program will be going to address the labour shortage of the specific and high-growth sectors. It will also consider the opinion from the employers and their growing demand of skilled and experience worker for their organizations and for the province too.
The key highlight of the program is that this New Immigration Pathway will precisely look to Retain Newcomers Who Are Already In The Province.
Priority Skills Newfoundland and Labrador will be open to persons who have one or more of the following advanced academic or specialized qualifications in priority sectors such as Information and Communications Technology, Oceans Technology, Health Care, Agriculture and Aquaculture:
