    Highlights of the Changes in DHA Global Visa Process Times

    The Australian government is concerned about the visa process times and as per the recent media release as well as Australian immigration news from the department, here are the significant updates the department is about to implement.

    • The Government is increasing the number of staff to speed up the processing time as well as to perform critical tasks.
    • To increase the processing time, the department is reallocating the staff to focus on those applicants who applied for Australia PR under the offshore skilled category, or apply an Australia Student Visa or visitor visa
    • The department is also reviewing the process and improvising it without affecting the programs’ integrity.
    • According to the department’s update, the processing time will improve in the coming months.
    • The median processing times for key programs that show the most accurate way to show the amount of time usually take the most visa applications to be finalized. Processing Times* by client location – 50 per cent (median)
