Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream

The stream allows foreign nationals who have work experience in eligible skilled trades from Ontario. The FSWT stream provides an opportunity to apply such candidates who would like to move to Canada permanently.

To qualify for the stream candidates must have a valid profile in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC’s) Express Entry system. Those candidates can apply further for their Canada PR who receive the Notification of Interest from Ontario.

As per the recent Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) update, the province announced the latest draw under Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. The draw nominated those candidates whose comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score is between 320 and above.
