    Australia Immigration Update - A Weekly Review

    Recently the Australian government declared its Australia Migration Program Planning Levels for the 2022-2023 year. The announcement has brought several changes along with it. For instance, most states and territories open their skilled migration programs for offshore and onshore candidates.

    In the last month, the states like Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria have not only opened their skilled migration programs but also given the ease to apply to Australia PR.

    In the continuation for this month, some significant updates came in last week from all around Australia. States like New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia have given their updates. On the other end, Australian Capital Territory declared yet another invitation round.     South Australia 2022-23 Business Innovation And Investment Program

    The state has opened interim allocation of 70 Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) nomination places on 8 September 2022 for these three categories.

    • Business Innovation Stream (Subclass 188A)
    • Investor Stream (Subclass 188B) and Significant Investor Stream (Subclass 188C)
    • Entrepreneur Stream (Subclass 188E)

    Tasmania State Is Opening Gold And Green Pass Candidates

    The Australian government has given an interim skilled visa allocation of nomination places to Tasmania state for the 2022-23 program year. Here are the allocated places

    • Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 2000 places
    • Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 1350 places

    The Tasmanian Skilled Migration State Nomination Program is expected to open to Gold and Green pass candidates by Monday 12 September 2022.
