IRCC Launches Category-Based Selection Draw for Express Entry

Certain changes are going to implement in the Canada NOC pattern by Canadian Immigration from November 2022. Moreover, as per the upcoming system, 16 NOC that was falling in the Skill Type C now will be eligible for the Express Entry. On the other side, three programs become ineligible. This new pattern changes the evaluation style of Canada PR, it will bring the new TEER system that considers Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities. However, it is better to understand how the NOC supports the structure of the job market.
Last year in October month, Canada Immigration declared a pre-scheduled change that made the Canada Permanent Residency aspirants in dilemma. The announcement was “Canadian immigration is going to make the major changes to the NOC format in 2022” So what are the changes the Canadian government has made and what will be the impact? As per the changes, the listed below sixteen NOCs are going to be eligible for the Express Entry which means currently, these NOCs are falling under skill type C but from November 2022 they will be considered as TEER 3 occupations and will be eligible.

In this new TEER system, some significant changes are also applicable such as, the latest NOC 2016 Version 1.3 has 423 occupation groups. On the other side, the NOC 2021 Version 1.0 has extended to 516 occupations. Currently, there are 30 NOC groups are existing which are going to expand by 58 groups. Whereas, two different group merger has created 5 more groups of NOCs.
