IRCC Launches Category-Based Selection Draw for Express Entry

As per an announcement by Saskatchewan, 533 immigration candidates have been issued invitations, in a 14th August 2020 draw, to apply for canada permanent residency through Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination.
The latest draw by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] invited 533 candidates in which 247 Express Entry and 286 candidates through Occupations-In-Demand.
Immigration candidates that received invitations in the August 14 draw had work experience in any of the 46 in-demand occupations.
This is the second SINP draw since the COVID-19 special measures were put in place by Canada. The previous draw was held on July 29th.
Immigration candidates were required to have submitted their Expression of Interest [EOI] profiles with the SINP in order to be invited in this draw. SINP EOI System is assessing the candidates on 5 factors like education, age, work experience, language ability, and connections to Saskatchewan
It the base of the point system and to qualify for the program candidate needs to achieve at least 60 points out of 100. The recent cut-off gets down by 1 point than the previous draw and stops at 69 points for both the categories.
