Quebec Held Biggest Draw of The Year on 24th September 2020

After waiting for a long, there is an invitation draw update come from Quebec. The French language-oriented province has declared the biggest immigration draw of the year on 24th September 2020. The province has nominated the candidates from Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program. The invitations went to the candidates who have their active profiles in the Arrima portal.

The Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) has segregated the invited candidates into 3 categories.

    • First – the invitations received by the candidates who have a valid employment offer from the province.
    • Second – The second category includes the number of people who are living in Quebec as a diplomat, consular officer, and representative for the United Nations or any intergovernmental organization. The occupations are also included those are as per Section 26 of the Quebec Immigration Regulation.
    • Third – the first time in the history of MIFI they sent invitations to the candidates that did not even meet the criteria. The condition from the Ministry is only that their occupations should contribute to Quebec’s prosperity.

Still, there is no specific number of invitations issued under each category.

The province did not specify how many of the invitations were issued to candidates in each of these categories. At Aspire Square we are closely monitoring the situation and updates of Canada Immigration. Get the accurate and latest news on the current scenario follow our news-listing page.
