IRCC Launches Category-Based Selection Draw for Express Entry

The First Express Entry draw of the month was held by the IRCC on May 10, 2023. The draw held under the Provincial Nominee Program invited 589 invitations. The cut-off for the draw has been declared as 691 CRS points.

As per the above-given tables, some speculations may be about to happen. For instance, there are below 4200 candidates who have CRS scores above 481 and below 500 points. These candidates may be nominated in a couple of draws because as per the 2023 trend, each draw is targeting at least 3000 aspirants. However, the area of concern is for those applicants who have scores between 480 and below. We can see that, in this range, the highest number of applicants (21,189) are currently active. It means, there are likely chances that the CRS score may not go down until the backlog gets clear or application flow goes down.
