It seems that the westernmost province of Canada – British Columbia has adopted the new TEER system precisely. As the authorities have declared the consecutive draw on the second week as well. The latest draw invited 212+ candidates from the General Draw (Including Tech Occupations) and Occupation-in-demand draw.
Highlights of the Latest BCPNP Draw
- After the newly launched TEER system, this is the second weekly and first General draw of the province. However, the draw also included Tech Occupations.
- This draw nominated candidates from two different streams. General Draw (including Tech Occupations) invited 180 candidates.
- The candidates are divided into five categories Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker – EEBC option, International Graduate, International Graduate – EEBC option, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled.
- Out of the five, four categories declared the cut-off of 104 points. Entry Level and Semi-Skilled categories are announced 80 points.
- On the other side, the occupation-oriented draw invited 32+ candidates from Healthcare, Childcare and Other Priority occupations.
- In this draw, the occupation-oriented stream nominates candidates from the category like Skilled Worker, and International Graduate (including the EEBC option).
- The cut-off of the streams has declared 60 points for all three occupation types.
- However, this draw is a carbon copy of the previous draw for the occupation-oriented segment. In the previous draw, the province nominated 44+ candidates on the same cut-off and occupation type.
