    Aug 06,2020

Almost 2 years of waiting ends for many Southern India’s students because NAATI has added the Telugu Language in the Credentialed Community Language (CCL) Testing. This means people who clear the test with the Telugu language will be able to get the 5 points in their Australia Permanent Residency Application.

    Important Points

    • Application enrollment for the test will be effective from 22nd July 2020 whereas the test center will be opened from 30th July 2020 and the test will commence from late August.
    • The test is to find out the applicant’s capability to interpret the conversation between two speakers in speaking different languages.
    • The test remains format same that contains two dialogues in which students require to translate from Telugu to English and English to Telugu.
    • The focusing areas of the dialogues would be Health Services, Social Services, Immigration, Education, Legal, Housing, and Lifestyle.

Make sure that, passing the CCL test does not certify the candidates to work as an interpreter or translator. However, successful candidates will be awarded 5 bonus points for their PR.
