As far as the immigration industry has concerned, there are plenty of significant updates have come in April month. All three major countries, which are currently in-demand for the permanent residency and study visa, have announced different news updates for the aspirants.
- Update from Australia – In the starting of the month, one of the biggest news has arrived. A long-awaited FTA (Free Trade Agreement) deal, which is known as Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI ECTA) has finally been settled between India and Australia almost after 10 years of negotiation.
- The update has opened the gates, and increase the chances for international students as well as for all those aspirants, who would like to Study in Australia or Settle in Australia
- On the other side, in the end of the month, the UK’s Prime Minister Mr. Boris Johnson visited India on 21st and 22nd and signed several business growth relevant, defence relevant, and other agreements.
- The UK’s PM has also admits that Indians are one of the premium sources that can boost up UK’s economy in terms of bringing skilled migrants and international students in the country. So this is might be a positive sign for those candidates, who want to Study in UK.
- In the hierarchy, Canada Immigration has also declared one of the most awaited announcements. As per the Canadian Immigration Minister Mr. Sean Fraser the FSWP & CEC draws may resume from early July month.
- However, still only one country is there which frequently declares the draw and invites more and more immigration is Canada. Here is April 2022 draws analysis for your reference.
Express Entry Draws
There were two Express Entry draw declared in the last month and invited 1616 candidates from the Provincial Nomination Program category.
APRIL 27, 2022
- It was second draw of the month that has invited total of 829 candidates. CRS score for the lowest-ranked invited candidates was 772 points.
APRIL 13, 2022
- The Canada Immigration has declared its first draw of the month on April 13 and invited 787 candidates whereas, the lowest-ranked candidates’ CRS score was held at 782 points.
British Columbia Provincial Nomination Draws
In April month, the British Columbia province declared its weekly draws. From March month, the province has changed the draw pattern. They are segregating each draws into two and targeting candidates from the tech pilot stream as well as health care occupations.

Ontario Provincial Nomination Draws
In the last month, the ontario province has declared total two draws and one announcement. With the draws the province has nominated all two category candidates such as, french speakers, skilled trade occupation holders and given news update for the business category aspirants. April 28, 2022
- Under this draw the province has invited those candidates who qualified for the Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
- Only potential clients have received the notification interest with the CRS cut-off range between 460 and 467
April 26, 2022
- The notification of interest was issued for the Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream

- As per the announcement OINP has nominated the Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) to deliver the Entrepreneur Pilot program for two-years.
- The pilot program allows 100 entrepreneurs to settle and grow their business outside of GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (Pei Pnp) Draw
April 21, 2022
- The PEI has also declared it preschedule draw of the month and invited candidates from the Labour Impact, Express Entry and Business Impact Streams
- Total 141 candidates received an invitation from Prince Edward Island.
- On the other side, 11 business impact stream candidates received the EOI notification.
Quebec Skilled Worker Draws
April 07, 2022
- The Quebec immigration has invited a total of 33 aspirants for permanent residency under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).
- According to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) the inivited candidates have their profiles in the Arrima portal and a valid job offer letter from the outside of the Montreal Metropolitan area.
