The Latest Update on BCPNP – Another Weekly Draw Invited 173 Candidates

British Columbia is back on track after a short-term break. The province started the week-on-week draws again and in the hierarchy yet another Tech Draw is declared. The latest draw invited 153 skilled workers and international graduates from tech occupations and 20 skilled workers and international graduates from childcare as well as healthcare categories.
Canada Immigration established a new TEER system on November 16, 2022. The province adopted the new occupation system quickly and start declaring frequent draws.
Highlights of the Latest BCPNP Draw
- British Columbia is back to business after a short-term break and started the frequent weekly draws.
- The break has been there due to the implementation of a new occupation system called the TEER system.
- This draw nominated candidates from two different streams. General Draw (including Tech Occupations) invited 180 candidates.
- This is the third consecutive draw of the month and already 573 candidates received the nomination.
- The particular draw nominated candidates from the two streams Tech Draw and occupation-in-demand draw.
- 153 candidates from 29 tech occupations are nominated to apply for Canada PR through Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories which included the Express Entry British Columbia option as well.
- 90 was the cut-off score declared for the stream.
- The occupation-oriented draw invited 20 candidates from Skilled Workers and International Graduate categories which included the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) option.
- 60 points were the minimum cut-off of for the latest draw for the stream.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for British Columbia PNP
- Education – completed education from a foreign country or from any of the provinces of Canada or British Columbia.
- Your occupation must fall in the eligible occupation codes of BCPNP
- You must have achieved a minimum CLB level of English or French Language
- Candidates must have or had a work experience for the certain duration
- Moreover, work experience also have the eligible skilled level as per BCPNP criteria
- Must have a valid job offer from the British Columbian employer
- Job must show the wage rate and skill level as per BCPNP criteria
- Candidates’ intention to live, work and settled in a specific region the British Columbia
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives
