New visa pricing arrangements will be introduced on 1 July 2013. This will change visa application charges from a single charge at the time of application to a charge per applicant in an individual or combined application.

12a: The second installment is in addition to the charges shown here and is paid prior to granting a visa. For applicants who have turned 18 at the time of application and who are assessed as not having functional English, the second installment is $4250.

12b: This visa is for applicants who are seeking to satisfy the primary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 489 (Skilled -Regional (Provisional)) visa in the Second Provisional Visa stream and who:

• Hold Subclass 475 (Skilled – Regional Sponsored) visa, or
• Hold Subclass 487 (Skilled – Regional Sponsored) visa or
• Hold Skilled – Independent Regional (Provisional) (Class UX) visa, or
• Hold Skilled – Designated Area-sponsored (Provisional) (Class UZ) visa.

12c: The second installment is in addition to the charges shown here and is paid prior to granting a visa. For applicants who have turned 18 at the time of application; who are assessed as not having functional English and who have not paid a second installment of the visa application charge in relation to an application for Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) (Subclass 489) – First Provisional Visa Stream visa, the second installment is $4250.
