    MITT – Application Fees

    International applicants:
    $190 per application for Diploma/Certificate & Post-Graduate Program $380 CAD for Dual Program.
    Network and Computer Technology, and Software Developer Programs: $300 per application/program (includes PAT fee).

    MITT – English Language Requirements

    • IELTS – 6.0 Band not less than 5.5 Bands.
    • PG Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management & PG Human Resources Learning and Development require IELTS 6.5 not less than 5.5 require.
    • PTE – Minimum score of 54 (For some program 58, please check program requirement).
    • TOEFL iBT – Overall score of 78, with no less than 17 in each component. Over all score of 86, with no less than 20 in each component (ECE, Pharmacy Technician, Health Care Aide & Unit Clerk, Medical Office Assistant and Rehabilitation Assistant) program.

    Application Process

    • Complete Online Application is required.
    • 2 Emergency Contact Detail (email id & mobile no of Mother & Father)
    • High-quality Colour scans of original documents will be required to be uploaded in PDF format as part of the online application.
    • Submit all Original color documents.
    • Include payment for Non-Refundable application fee and non-refundable seat deposit based on program selection.
    • Allow up to 6 weeks for processing.
    • Conditional offer letter will be available to student on IELTS.
    • Pay seat deposit of $5,000 CAD by deadline (Non-Refundable except in case of study permit rejection)
    • MITT will no longer require official hard copy documents to make and admission decision.
    • Original documents will be required to be submitted for verification prior to the program start date
    • Applicants who do not currently meet English Language Proficiency requirements can apply for additional English language training at MITT’s English Language Institute (ELI) and may be eligible for conditional admission to a post-secondary program once enrolled in the ELI. (Application Fees -$100 Cad & Tuition fees is approx. $3400 CAD and duration is 10 weeks)

    Important Remarks

    Very Important Note:

    After submission of online application and sending documents by Email MITT will assess the documents. If student will be eligible for the admission college will ask for $5,000 seat confirmation fees for Diploma or Certificate and Post Graduate programs, which will be non-refundable and non-transferable in any case other than visa refusal. With one application and seat confirmation fees one defers, and program change request can be possible.

    Important Information

    MITT will only process complete applications

    Effective immediately, MITT will only process applications that include all information and documents required to begin the application assessment. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Having a complete application and meeting admissions requirements does not guarantee admission into MITT’s programs. Application fees are non-refundable.

    Competitive and comparative admission

    MITT no longer admits international applicants on a first-completed, first-admitted basis. Due to consistently high demand for MITT’s programs, a competitive and comparative process is now used. Having a complete application and meeting admission requirements does not guarantee admission into MITT’s programs.

    Incomplete applications

    MITT will only process applications that include all information and documents required to begin the application assessment. Incomplete applications will not be processed. Applicants will receive an email indicating their application was incomplete and they can apply to a future intake, if they wish. Other examples of incomplete applications are: –

    • Required fields are not completed correctly i.e. missing or incorrect information.
    • Failure to upload all required documents in PDF format at the online application stage.
    • Multiple copies of the same document uploaded.
    • Authorization of Release form not submitted.
    • All prior post-secondary and English Language Proficiency results not declared within the application, and/or relevant PDF documents not uploaded.

    Documents in another language

    Original or notarized copies only, accompanied by a notarized or certified English translation. Self translations or translations done by an individual or company that is not certified is not acceptable. All documents submitted become the property of MITT; applicants are encouraged to submit notarized copied of their documents, instead of originals.

    Declarations

    Declaration of all prior post-secondary education is required, even where the prior program of study was
    not completed. MITT also requires proof of English language proficiency.
    Misrepresentation, falsification of documents or the withholding of requested information on the application can result in cancellation of acceptance and registration, or dismissal from MITT.

    Multiple applications

    A maximum of two post-secondary program applications per applicant are permitted in a given academic year. Additional applications for the same applicant will not be processed and those application fees will not be refundable.

    Where an applicant gains admission to more than one post-secondary program in the same Academic Year, they will be required to choose only one. An admission deposit paid for an offer that has already been accepted is non-refundable*. *Where an international applicant received a study permit denial, deposits may be refundable.     Waitlists

    MITT’s waitlist processes have changed. If the applicant’s program of choice is full, the applicant will be placed on a waitlist until the start of the program. If a space in the program applied for does not become available by the start of the program, the application will be cancelled, and the applicant will need to re apply at a future intake.

    Deferral

    An admitted student (who has accepted an offer of admission and had paid an admission deposit) may defer their admission one time only, to the next available intake. Deferral is possible up to 30 days before the start of the program.

    Early Admission

    International high school students studying in their final year of secondary school can apply for conditional admission after they have completed Grade 11, using their most recent interim transcript or predicted Grade 12 results. Final Grade 12 transcripts and proof of secondary school graduation will still be required. Final admission is dependent on successful completion of all Grade 12 admission requirements.

    Study permits

    International applicants who have been admitted to a post-secondary program (have accepted an Offer of Admission and paid an admission deposit) must provide proof of a valid study permit or study visa at least 30 days before the start of the program. If a valid study permit cannot be presented by this time, applicants can request a one-time deferral to the next available intake by emailing admissions@mitt.ca (or eli@mitt.ca for English for Academic Purposes applicants). This request must be made at least 30 days prior to the start of the program.

All programs require high school graduation, and Grade 12 Math and English (or international equivalent).

    Airport Pickup Service

    • Airport Pickup service is available for the international student at the charge of $100, Student need to send Airport Pickup services form with the Air Ticket to confirm the Airport Pickup service prior to 1 week of Travel Date.
