    The visa subclass 101 is for those children who are residing outside Australia and want to join their parents in Australia. The visa is sanctioned to the children who are born outside the boundaries of Australia and are under 18 years of age.

    Child Visa (Subclass 802)

    The visa enables the children who are living in Australia with their parents to reside with them on a permanent basis. The child must be present in Australia from the time of application to the completion of the visa process.

    Australia Child Visa Requirements (Subclass 101 and 802)

    • The child must have an eligible sponsor belonging to Australia.
    • The child must meet the desired health requirements.
    • The child must meet the desired character requirements and so on.

    Dependent Child Visa (Child Visa Subclass 445) 

    A dependent child visa (subclass 445) is a temporary visa that enables the children of temporary partner visa holders to reside in Australia with them. The visa allows the child to fly to and from, reside in Australia until the permanent partner visa of the parent is granted. The child must be a biological child, adopted child, or stepchild and must be single to avail this visa. 

    Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445) Requirements

    • The child must be minor or dependent on his/her parents.
    • The child must have an eligible sponsor to sponsor the visa.
    • The child must have a written consent either from his/her parents or from the authorities of his/her home country.
    • The child must meet the required health and character requirements.
