International Graduates In Demand
The stream is intended for international graduates with qualifications and skills that are in line with particular National Occupational Classification (NOC) job categories. A long-term job offer in an allowed occupation from a Nova Scotian employer is necessary to be accepted for the stream. The 2 NOC job categories that the stream is presently accepting applications for are
- NOC 33102: nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
- NOC 42202: early childhood educators and assistants
Entrepreneur
The stream is for experienced business managers or skilled business owners who want to start a business in Nova Scotia and relocate there. Candidates in this stream must be over 21 and have a sufficient net worth of at least CA$ 600,000. The applicants are eligible for nomination for Canada PR status once they have effectively operated their Nova Scotia business for at least a year.
International Graduate Entrepreneur
Students who have completed a degree from a Nova Scotian university or college and wish to live permanently in Nova Scotia are suitable for the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream. Candidates must have administered a business in Nova Scotia for a minimum of one-year duration while operating under a Post-Graduation Work Permit in order to be eligible for the stream. The other conditions to apply for the stream include a candidate must have consent from the Immigration Office of Nova Scotia, achieve at least 7 points on the Canadian Language Benchmark for either French or English, etc.
